JCAPPP – Jefferson County Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program

Nursery StaffThe JCAPP Program serves all Jefferson County pregnant and parenting teens.

The program allows students to attend high school full time and receive credit towards high school graduation.  Students are allowed to bring their child to the fully licensed, on-site childcare while attending classes.

Labor & Delivery, Child Development, and Parenting classes are required for these students as well as exciting field trips to child enrichment programs and post-secondary colleges and schools.  These courses and field trips are intended to teach and encourage strong parenting skills in addition to exposing students to many post-secondary education options for future success.

The on-site childcare serves children from 3 weeks – 3 years of age.  All staff are fully licensed.

Students who graduate from the JCAPP Program are more likely to continue personal and parenting success due to the education and experiences included in this program.
