I am proud to say that I am a native of Colorado and a graduate of Colorado State University — GO RAMS! I am also a graduate of
Bear Creek High School, which helped with an easy transition back into Jefferson County School system as a high school counselor. This is my 11th year as a counselor in Jefferson County. I find great satisfaction working with students, helping them overcome life’s obstacles and challenges, being a sounding board and supporting them in their decision making process and problem solving. I find much fulfillment watching a student succeed and I value my role in helping them plan for their future, whether it be, career, college, military or whatever they choose. I am completing my third year counseling students at McLain and I have had an incredible time working with and getting to know the dynamic staff at McLain High School.
In my spare time I enjoy volunteering and helping various wildlife and animal foundations. I like to go on hikes, visit with friends and spending time with my family. Although, I am not good at packing for trips, I love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. I am looking forward to continuing my career here at McLain.
